Brian Andrews, CT License HOI.000954 has a diverse background in the residential real estate industry that gives him an advantage over other inspectors.  He has been an investor and manager of rental income properties since 2001, and owns several Connecticut rental properties.  Brian also has broad experience as a licensed contractor doing major renovation work to existing housing, as well as construction of new homes.  His general contracting background and familiarity with building codes and construction practices are very helpful in understanding why certain conditions may exist within a home and how they can be best corrected.  Brian has also held mortgage origination and real estate sales licenses, which gives him insight into the buying process and an understanding of how the home inspector can best serve the clients needs.  When he is not inspecting homes, Brian likes to spend his time with his wife and son, and he is a Captain with the Wolcott Volunteer Fire Department.

Brian is an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector, InterNACHI Certified Wood Destroying Organism (Termite) Inspector, and IAC2 Radon and Mold certified by the International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants.
