My name is Mathew Mahon I am the Owner/Inspector of Mahon Services your go to Residential Home Inspection Provider. I have spent most of my life like most people searching for that job that I really enjoy doing. Through this time I have worked in many fields both part time and full time. I have worked mostly in the construction trades such as building homes, installing concrete, electrical, plumbing, framing, block laying, siding, roofing and so on. I have a six year break starting in 2008 and ending in 2014 while I served in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman and Marine Security Guard. I started into the construction trades at about twelve years old working full time with my brother in laws construction company.

I have worked for excavating companies and even an asphalt maintenance company for a short time. All in all I have roughly fifteen years experience in the construction trades. Construction however even though I was good at it, was not the job I wanted to do the rest of my life. I always had the ambition to own my own business. I began to search for businesses that I could startup that my skills would help me to make successful. The home inspection industry fit the bill. I now use my many years of construction experience to help me identity problem areas within a home.

I strive to provide to my clients the best service that I myself would expect from others. I have always felt that businesses should strive to provide value in what they provide. In the high paced world we live in many get caught up in nothing but making profit and they forget to provide value. So, providing value to my clients is the number one goal of Mahon Services. I provide this first off by ensuring I conduct a thorough home inspection conforming to the most stringent standards of practice in the industry the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors SOP. I then provide first notch customer service by providing prompt courteous communication. I also have an open schedule, I do not restrict the days or times that I conduct my inspection to help ensure I am available when I am needed.
